The Club Championship Weekend

Semi finals Saturday19th
Saturday proved to be a very windy day making scoring difficult  
Jane Graham played Jane Thain with Jane Graham winning and Emma Bisset played Emma Wilson with Emma Bisset winning

The Bronze Championship 
​Suzanne Allison played Maureen Harrison with Maureen winning and Kirstine Cochran played Anne Mackenzie with Anne winning 

We all retired to the club house for a mixed gathering for Pimms and Canapés

On Sunday 20th August the Championship finals were played in warm windless conditions. Jane had a difficult start then came on her game however Emma played faultless golf and the match finished with Emma winning, congratulations Emma commiserations Jane.

The Bronze Championship was between Anne and Maureen it was a close fought contest with Anne winning

All retired to the clubhouse for coffee, cake and presentations.
The trophies will be represented at the AGM. Thanks to the players, caddies, referees and spectators for making it a great day

Coronation Foursomes

Congratulations to our winning pair Alison Turnbull and Linda Spence who won the LGU Area Final at Turnhouse with 42pts (bih). The grand final is over the Eden Course St.Andrews on September 18th we wish them good luck

New Club Steward and Chef at Elie

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr & Mrs Scott as Club Steward and Chef respectively with effect from 2nd August 2017

Grant comes to us with extensive experience in the leisure catering industry while Winnie joins us from The Castle Course, St. Andrews. They have a wide range of catering experience at golf clubs and certainly know how to look after golfers' needs!!

Theirs is a catering family with great culinary skills- their son, Jamie, won the 2014 Masterchef Professional and now has his own restaurant, The Newport.

We welcome the Scotts to the Golf House Club Elie and are sure they will continue to provide members and visitors alike with the high quality of food and drink for which the Golf House Club has become renowned
