Junior Girls 2021
All Junior members are encouraged to join in and play in as many competitions and fun events as they can - below is a full list of the Girls' competitions and knockout dates for this year. We would like to include all our members - if you are unsure about playing in a competition yet - come and join us for a drink and chat and meet all the other girls. The Ladies are also very keen to include the girls in most of their competitions - all medals and shot-gun foursomes - the dates of which are in the fixture card and will come up on HowDidIDo. Please also read the information below regarding handicaps - we are very happy to help you through the process.
Izzy is our Junior Captain this year and will be delighted to help with any queries, particularly from new members. We are all on a WhatsApp group, so please do ask any questions on there or contact me directly (details below).

Handicaps
Girls join the club with a variety of experience of playing golf. Some will be ready to think about a handicap while others will want to get used to playing on ‘the big course’ before taking this step. Girls who are members at other golf clubs or the Elie Sports Club may already have a handicap. We can help you gain a handicap by playing in our competitions or by submitting additional scores. It is necessary to have a handicap to play in some of the Ladies' competitions. Please email our handicap secretary, Leslie: golfhandicap@ladiesgolfelie.co.uk who will be happy to answer any questions about the handicap system as well as explain the practical details of submitting cards.
Mobile Phones
The use of mobile phones is not generally permitted on the course, in the car park or the Clubhouse, apart form the telephone box located in the hallway. However, we suggest that when out on the golf course, at least one of you in each group carries a mobile phone in case of emergencies and it can also be useful to access the Rules of Golf App. Your mobile phone is also the easiest way to access HowDidIDo and the Scottish Golf App - both will be required to sign-in and then for score entry for competitions and additional cards.
Dress Code
Smart attire and golf shoes are required on the course. Clean soft spikes are allowed in the corridors, locker rooms and the lounges. No jeans or trainers are allowed to be worn in the cluhouse or course.
