Girls join the club with a variety of experience of playing golf. Some will be ready to think about a handicap while others will want to get used to playing on ‘the big course’ before taking this step. Girls who are members at other golf clubs or the Elie Sports Club may already have a handicap. It is necessary to have a handicap to play in a competition. This is done by submitting three cards. Please email our competition secretary: firstname.lastname@example.org who is happy to answer any questions about the handicap system as well as explain the practical details of submitting cards.
The use of mobile phones is not permitted on the course, in the car park or the Clubhouse, apart form the telephone box located in the hallway. However, we suggest that when out on the golf course, at least one of you in each group carries a mobile phone in case of emergencies.
Smart attire and golf shoes are required on the course. Clean soft spikes are allowed in the corridors, locker rooms and the lounges. No jeans or trainers are allowed to be worn in the cluhouse or course.
If there is anything that you would like ask about, contact Junior Convenor, Louise Massey, email: email@example.com
